My story

Magically Balloons was created and dreamed up by the Mom of two boys, Amy Ly. I was born in Minnesota but grew up in the San Gabriel Valley of California. As the oldest child from an Immigrant Asian American family, I was taught to be crafted by my Mom and the value of hard work. I started with creating for just my family and then my friends for pure joy. Shortly after, I saw a demand and became a self-taught balloon boss babe.

I studied to become a Special Education teacher and enjoy working with children. I found myself wanting a more creative outlet and that is where Magically Balloons was created. All roads lead me to work with children and make a difference in their lives. Becoming a mother of two boys has taught me to be blessed by each day that we are given. My ambition and creativity led to my passion for creating designs with balloons. I was able to share my creative projects with the world while using balloons.

I truly understand the struggles of planning the perfect party for your little ones or an event while life is happening. We all ordered the Amazon balloon kits and it was nothing like the pictures. That is where I come in to help so you can handle the other details of your event. I know the feeling of having too many ideas but do know where to start. I have been making a mark on parties since 2018. I am here to help make some magic happen.
